Description
BETDAQ is the trading name of Global Betting Exchange, registered
in Ireland with company number 325422. Its registered office
is at IFSC House, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland.
The company was founded in 2000 by leading Irish businessman
Dermot Desmond, whose other interests include London City
Airport and a major shareholding in Glasgow Celtic Football
Club. It started trading in September 2001.
Global Betting Exchange operates a number of sports betting
exchanges and brokerages around the world. It uses proprietary
software, developed with a number of partners, and is fully
protected by copyright in the European Union.
