is Auctionair ?
- Auctionair™
is
unique.
Invented for airline passengers as the smart way to make
the most of their in-flight time. They aunched their first
auction on British Airways in July 2001.
- Since
then their catalogues have been promoted on six major UK
airlines (including BA, BMI, EasyJet,
FlyBe and Virgin Atlantic) and they have been
so delighted by the positive reaction that we are now available
to anyone (over 18) who would like to take part on or off-line.
- So
far there have now been 4,156 winning bids
placed on Auctionair™. And they keep coming back for more!
- On
average 8.8% of our bidders have had
winning bids! (Although whether you win is heavily
dependant on the amount you offer).
Here's how it works
- Auctionair™
is a
'sealed-bid' auction.
This means you only need bid once
to win – which is both convenient and also means no one
can talk you up!
- It's
simple! You just bid the maximum that
you are prepared to pay for
that Lot. No other bidders will know what you have bid until
the final closing date, as published for each auction.
- The
bids will all be compared on the closing date and the highest
bidders win. It's as simple as that.
- If
more than one bidder has placed a bid for the same highest
amount, then the winning bid will be the
first received at Auctionair.
What
if I win?
- If
you win and have bid higher than you meant to, don't panic
– you can always say, 'No thanks' when they contact
you.
- If
they do contact you as a winner you will have 24
hours to decide, and if you agree to go ahead, you
will then have 5 days to make payment.
N.B. Once you confirm
to Auction Air that you do wish to go ahead, they
will send you an invoice and your offer will then become
legally binding on you.
- If
you lose but the highest bidder does turn it down,
then you will be offered a Second Chance
to bid again (for FREE).
What
do I do to enter?

Air and
decide which of them you'd like
then.
- Decide
how much you'd like to offer
then.
- Click
on one of the Bid Here!
buttons and follow instructions.
As long
as you match or exceed the minimum bid price, you will have
a chance of winning the bargain, or perhaps the dream of a
lifetime.
